RENVERS AND HALF PASS

Renvers is a collecting movement to supple and straighten your horse. It is actually the same position as travers, but it is ridden with the quarters on the track and the shoulders to the inside, the horse is bending towards the side of the arena, in the direction it is going.

The Half Pass is the exercise which follows travers. It has the same position and bend but the horse is moving across the arena on a diagonal line (as in leg-yielding but this time with bend and collection). It will supple your horse on both sides and improve collection.
